The girls’ basketball team was defeated in the championship game of the CIF-SS Open Division Playoffs by Long Beach Poly.
The final score of the game was 68-52. After trailing 16-12 at the end of the first quarter, the Wolverines managed to take a 35-32 lead at halftime.
The squad has an overall record of 25-4 and will play in the State Playoffs.
