Stanley Morris ’18  stepped up in the number one single’s position in the absence of captain Adam Sraberg ’17.

David Arkow ’20 swept his singles matches and the pair of or Sacha Pritzker ’18 and Timothy Li ’20 swept their doubles matches.

“Promising stuff again today from the lads, who were able to show strong mental toughness in an unfamiliar away environment,” captain Jacob Tucker ’17 said. “Today’s match, had it gone the other way, would’ve meant the end of our season, so I’m proud of the team for the mental fortitude they exhibited.”

The squad faces Los Alamitos away at 3 p.m. Monday for quarterfinals. The Griffins eliminated the Wolverines from CIF playoffs in the last two seasons, but the Wolverines dominated the Griffins 16-2 in their previous match this season.
