Small instrumental groups performed in the annual Winter Chamber Concert Friday and Saturday.

The concert featured small ensembles of students from Wind Ensemble, Camerata Strings and the Symphony Orchestra.

The first portion of the concert was held in the St. Saviours’ Chapel, and featured varying ensembles playing pieces by composers such as Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert and Anton Arensky.

Following a brief intermission, the concert continued in the Feldman-Horn Art Gallery, and ensembles performed pieces by Enrique Granados, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Franz Joseph Haydn.

The concert was free, and open to students, faculty and parents.

“The concert was stupendous,” performing arts teacher Mark Hilt said. “I’m so proud of all the kids. They’ve worked hard, and when it all comes together, it’s perfect.”
