Football looks to win at Homecoming with new offense

The football team will face St. Anthony High School in a league game at the school’s Homecoming on Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be an opportunity for the Wolverines to improve to 2-0 in their league record. . After their latest win against La Salle, the Wolverine’s overall record improved to 3-3.

Since their last game, the squad has been playing both Aaryan Mehdi Williams ’27 and Aidan Greenfield ’24 at the quarterback position. Senior wide receiver Owen Huang ’24 said the change has been effective and versatile.

“I think our offense should be quite dynamic Saturday night, with a variety of packages to adjust to in in-game situations,” Huang said. “Each quarterback offers something special for us, and in our win last week we saw how successful and well-rounded we can be with both under center. We hope to keep the ball moving and scoring the ball, so this should keep our offense exciting on homecoming night.”
