Girls’ volleyball program head Mitchell Kalick huddles with the team in a game against Notre Dame Academy Oct. 5.

Varsity girls’ volleyball will play Mayfield High School in a league game at Homecoming on Oct. 7 in the Taper Gym at 6 p.m. The team currently has a league record of 2-6 and needs to improve its record in order to make the semifinals.

Setter Fiona Ryan ’25 said that the team is excited to play and aims to continue improving their game performance.

“After the senior night win last night, we are all really looking forward to the homecoming [game],” said Ryan. “We have been working on our team chemistry a lot and I think we really showcased our potential in terms of teamwork and trust last night and hope to do the same tomorrow.”

The freshmen and junior varsity teams will also play Mayfield at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. respectively in the Taper Gym.
