Victor Lowe ’24 prepares to serve in a game from the 2023 spring season.

Boys’ volleyball setter Victor Lowe ’24 announced his official commitment to play Division 1 volleyball at the University of Hawai’i. Hawai’i won the NCAA men’s volleyball national championship for two consecutive years in 2021 and 2022, and was the runner-up to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2023.

Lowe said he chose the University of Hawai’i due to the school’s exceptional volleyball program and location.

“The volleyball culture in Hawai’i is different than anywhere else in the country,” Lowe said. “The school is also in an unbeatable location.”

Lowe said he is grateful for his parents and coaches for supporting him throughout his volleyball career.

“I’d like to thank my parents for pushing me and supporting me endlessly, as well as my club and school coaches for the last four years,” Lowe said.
