Girls’ season ends after semifinal loss to Oaks Christian in State Playoffs

The girls’ basketball team’s season ended tonight after losing to Oaks Christian 56-48 in the semifinals of CIF State Playoffs.

Oaks Christian, playing on its home court, had control of the game from the start and built a 19-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. Despite making a run in the final minutes, the Wolverines’ came up short by eight points.

The team finished with an overall record of 22-13 and a league record of 4-4. The girls finished third in the mission league and made it to the semifinals of both CIF Southern Section Playoffs and CIF State Playoffs.
