The boys lacrosse team improved to a record of 2-8 after defeating Chaminade College Preparatory 13-7 at Ted Slavin Field on Mar. 17.
Attackman Ethan Kang ’27 said that this particular game was very satisfying because the team was able to succeed at elements which they had been practicing.
“I feel like all of the things we worked on in practice came together and it showed,” Kang said. “Everybody played confidently and we were able to dominate.”
Attackman Jaxson Warlick ’28 said that having confidence before a game is a crucial component for doing well.
“Our defense played better this game, and also offensively I thought we had more confidence that game and we were dodging better,” Warlick said. “Having confidence before the game is important. I personally was more confident [during] that game and I scored more.”
