The Upper School is mandating the use of phone caddies in the classroom for the fourth quarter to prevent further distractions from cellphones following an increase in Honor Board cases related to phone usage. The use of earbuds and headphones in the classroom will also be strictly prohibited.

Parent writes libretto for LA Opera production

December 13, 2006

Richard Sparks (Lizzy ’07) wrote a libretto for the L.A. Opera production of “Hansel and Gretel.” Working from the original German script, Sparks translated it into English and tweaked sections of the opera so it would work for drama. He also made a change to the overall feeling of the witch to make her a more genuine character without the stereotypes.
