The African-American history assembly, scheduled for next Friday, Feb. 27, has been postponed until later this spring, Advancement officer Eli Goldsmith announced Thursday.

Keynote speaker, San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris’ mother died last week and Harris will be out of the country until Feb. 27, Goldsmith said.

Because of the change, next Friday will be a normal Friday schedule with 2:35 p.m. dismissal.
