Girls’ varsity soccer wins first round of CIF 2-0

The girls’ varsity soccer team won the first round of the CIF playoffs 2-0 against the Apaches of Arcadia High School.


They beat Arcadia on Monday and will play in the second round on Thursday.




Both goals were scored by junior Donilyn Hunter-Sallustio, while keeper Clara Jacques ’09 made six saves.



This is the first time since 2006 that the Wolverines have made it to the quarterfinals in CIF competition.



Thursday’s game will be a home game and will be against University High School of Irvine.
