Boys’ soccer inches closer to playoff spot with victory

The boys’ soccer team defeated Alemany 3-0 in their second-to-last league game of the year, bringing them one win closer to a playoff spot.

Coming off of a 4-0 loss to Notre Dame on Feb. 2, the Wolverines rebounded with a strong performance. They quickly established control of the game, with Nicholas Barnouw ’19 scoring a goal in the third minute, followed by Asher Vogel scoring in the 18th minute. Henry Sanderson ’20 also added a goal later in the game, capping off a strong night for the underclassmen.

This game gave the Wolverines their fourth victory in six games and brought their league record to 4-4-3.

The Wolverines play their final game of the season against Chaminade on Feb. 9.
