Boys’ soccer clinches playoff spot with victory

The boys’ soccer team defeated Chaminade 1-0 on Feb. 9, securing a CIF-SS D1 playoff spot and third place in the Mission League.

The game’s only goal was scored in the 12th minute by Alec Katz ’19 off of a Henry Sanderson ’20 assist.

After losing or tying their first five league games, the Wolverines rebounded, going 4-1-1 in their final six league games.

The Wolverines have finished the regular season with a 5-4-3 league record, and hope to continue their recent strong play into the CIF playoffs.
