The boys’ volleyball team defeated El Dorado 3-1 in the first round of the playoffs May 10, advancing to the second round.

Coming off of a quick 3-0 victory against St. Francis on Senior Night, the team won its first set 31-29 and won its second set 25-17. Following a third set loss, the squad rebounded to close out the match in four sets.

The Wolverines finished the season with a 10-9-1 overall record and 5-7 overall record. Following spring break, the squad went 2-2 in its final four league games in the year, and also won the Sylmar Tournament.

The Wolverines, who did not make the playoffs last season, will hope to continue their playoff run by defeating Calabasas tomorrow at home, who finished 7-3 in league play this season.
